Environmental Waste Technologies Ltd was established in 1999 by Co founders Colin Goode and Patrick Lawler. It was while working and living in New York in the early 80's that both Colin and Pat were introduced to asbestos when they started to work for a large New York based Asbestos Removal Company who were involved with some of the biggest companies in America. It was here that while working on many landmark buildings and working for Blue Chip clients such as Morgan Stanley, Meryl Lynch, The Port Authority and Federated Department Stores to name but a few that their apprenticeship was served.

Colin and Pat after some 22 years in the Asbestos Removal Business between them returned to Ireland in the late 90's and while trying their luck separately in more traditional employment came together and decided to see if an asbestos removal business was viable. After some months of research Environmental Waste Technologies Ltd was formed in 1999. Almost immediately clients were very impressed with their professionalism and their new and improved work and safety standards.
